Fall Protection Systems: Setting the standard

You may have seen certain standards double prefixed with BS EN. You may already know that BS relating to British Standards and EN referring to Euro Norms. This means that the item referred to complies with the UK version of a European harmonised standard.

With regards to fall protection, we often refer to BS EN795:2012 – Personal Fall Protection Equipment – Anchor Devices. At Premsafe, we take safety standards seriously and use these as our benchmark for the products we supply and install.

Soter Fall Protection Systems

We install Soter arrest and restraint fall protection systems due to their exemplary performance. Soter’s own in house testing facilities ensure that this system meets the BS EN795 standard. It also goes beyond, hitting the recently published Magenta guidelines from the Advisory Committee for Roofwork ACR[M]002:2009-(Part2). In fact, the Soter system has successfully performed compliant on drop test on sheets down to 0.4mm thick steel.

Guarantees

Exceeding expectations is what sets this system apart from the competition. Soter are the only manufacturer in the UK to only use stainless steel parts in their safety system. So confident are Soter in the quality of their product, that they offer a 25 year insurance backed guarantee. This covers not only the safety line system, but also the ENTIRE ROOF for issues resulting from the Soter system being installed. Now that is confidence!
